Chiang Mai Travel Guide - Accommodation

Here is a very small selection of accommodation that I have stayed in or have been recommended.

People Place No1 - is a bit tired now, try People Place No2.
Top North Hotel - is a nice hotel slightly tired but good value at 600 ish.
Lanna Thai - is a highly recommended guesthouse/hotel at 700-900 baht.
Royal Lanna – is a central hotel, very handy for the night market, but the rooms are tired - 1400 baht
The Park Hotel – is a 40 baht tuk tuk ride away from the night market, its quiet and a really nice hotel to stay in. 1200 baht upwards.
Tamarind village - resort, never stayed here, but its supposed to be nice 4000 baht upwards.
Chedi hotel - 5 star beautiful hotel (too expensive for me) 9000 baht upwards.

If you want to book a hotel, I highly recommend Sabai Tour Chiang Mai.
