Mae Hong Son Travel Guide

A trip to Mae Hong Son is well worth it if you have some spare time.  At least 3 days are necessary to make the most of this tour.

Leaving from Chiang Mai at 8.00am you will arrive in Pai at 12.00 ish.

There are several options available;

Hire a minivan with a driver for 1800 Baht per day plus fuel.

Hire a motorcycle (only if you don’t value your life that much).

Hire a car for 1500 Baht per day plus fuel and drive yourself.

Chiang Mai to Pai  - 4.5 hours (including stops)
Pai to Mae Hong Son - 3 hours (including stops)
