Three day trip to Chiang Rai - Saenphu Hotel, Chiang Rai

The Saenphu Hotel is on Thanon Banphaprakan. The rooms here are now 1000 Baht per night, including, Air con (ish), cable TV, fridge, hot shower and breakfast.

The Lonely Planet Thailand September 2005 11th Edition describes these rooms as a bargain at 500 baht per night! (Not anymore)

There is also a nightclub in the Basement of this hotel, so don't get a room too close to the ground!
