Three day trip to Chiang Rai - Doi Chang Dao & Doi Ang Khang

Leaving Chiang Mai, I used Route 107 to Doi Chang Dao followed by Route 1178 to Doi Ang Khang. The scenery is beautiful on this road, however, the roads wind sharply up the mountain as well as down. This is not a road for a novice or un-confident driver. Also try not to overheat the brakes as they may fail!

After you reach the top of Doi Ang Khang, take the road down into Ang Khang village to see the hill tribes.
