Three day trip to Chiang Rai - Car Hire

If you are planning a trip to Chiang Rai there are a few options available to you.

I chose to hire a car from Chiang Mai for 1200 Baht per day. If you want to hire a car, you either have to leave your passport, or 5000 baht with the hire company to cover any excess. By the way if you have an accident, YOU will have to claim your 5000 baht back form the third party insurer.

Also ensure that you check the car over thourghly for damage.
