Bus to Old Sukhothai

The bus to Old Sukhothai leaves from over the main bridge heading towards Old Sukhothai.  You can’t miss the buses, they are old wooden buses with a hand painted sign on front saying Old City or Old Sukhothai.

If in doubt, ask at your hotel.  The bus costs 20 Baht and runs from 6am to 6pm.  Infact, the buses either stop ruuning exactly at 6pm or just before. I was 5 minutes late one night and the buses had already stopped.

Luckily for me, there was a Tuk Tuk waiting and gave me a lift back to New Sukhothai, which is 13 kilometres away for 150 Baht.  

He was happy and so was I!
