Restaurants - New Bagan

I ate at the Green Elephant in New Bagan, it was nothing special.  It was one of the few restaurants I had been to that charged a 10% service charge plus 10% VAT.  A Myanmar Curry cost 4500 kyats and a large bottle of Myanmar beer 2500 kyats plus VAT and SC.

The food is quite good at the Silver House Restaurant New Bagan, there is no VAT charged here therefore the food is cheaper.

If you fancy a trip to Nyaung U 13000 kyats return taxi trip (15 minute drive) from New Bagan, there is an Indian/Pizza Restaurant with Interent on the Main Market street that is quite nice.
