Temples - Bagan
Bagan is a temple goer's paradise, there are over 4000 temples, big and small. However must of these are not worth visiting. There are maybe 30 to 40 worth visiting. I’m not going to list them all here, buy yourself a copy of Lonely Planet's guide to Myanmar for more information. You will see photos of the ones I did visit in my Myanmar Photo section.
Most of the temples that have paintings inside forbid you to take photos and many of these are locked. You will most likely find the key holder hanging around outside the temple and he will open it for you expecting a tip.
