Accommodation - Inle, Nyaungshwe

I stayed at Teakwood Guesthouse in Nyaung Shwe.  The guesthouse is nice especially the newer rooms, however I think it is a bit overpriced for what you get. The rooms are $20 US Dollars per night, no TV, no fridge however, you do get a nice hot shower with good pressure.  I wouldn't’ bother with the food here as it is rather bland. There are a few nicer restaurants towards the end of town (not the harbour side).

The women at teakwood are also renowned for their over enthusiasm at selling tours.  Their prices are at least double!  A 3 hour tour around Inle in a dugout boat will cost you $6 or 7000 kyats based on a 1200 kyats per USD with 200 kyats discount!  However when you want to change money the rate drops to 1180 kyats per USD (strange eh!!)
