Pituxai - Vientiane

The big lump of concrete that is the "Pituxai" is reminiscent of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. It stands at the end of Th Lang Xang a rather impressive long dual carriage way in the centre of the city.

If you come down here at the weekend in the late afternoon, all of the young locals are hanging about here listening to music piped into speakers around the gardens.
