Accommodation - Vientiane

I arrived in Vientiane with no room booked. I don’t normally do this but I thought, big city, plenty of rooms, but that was not the case. 

I tried 5 different guesthouses and finally got the last room in the Riverside View Hotel.  If you arrive late or in the afternoon it is harder to find a room. 

My room was $14 per night with fan, fridge, cable TV and hot shower.
