Accommodation - Phonsavan

I booked into the Banna Plain of Jars Guesthouse in Phonsavan. 

When I booked this room through my guesthoue in Luang Prabang, I was advised that the cost was 500 Baht for a single room, hot shower and cable TV but no breakfast. 

Upon checking out of the guesthouse I was told the room was only $10 USD or 380 Baht per night!
