Accommodation - Luang Prabang

I booked into Muong Lao Guesthouse on Phommathat Road for 600 Baht/$17 per night.  The guesthouse was very nice; I had a large room with 2 double beds! Not much use to me, however. 

The only downside was that there was no fridge or TV. The rooms are all wired for cable and was told, "The TV’s are coming soon"! 

The website details on their business card seem to bare absolutely no relation to their guesthouse, therefore, there is no point giving it.  Their phone number is (+856) 71 252741.

I stayed at the Rama Hotel in Luang Prabang for $27 per night. According to Lonely Planet the rooms should be a maximum of $13.

But as you will soon notice Luang Prabang has become popular, therefore, expensive and Lonely Planet Laos 2006, 5th Edition is so far out of date you will need binoculars to read it!
