Koh Ker - Siem Reap

If you are planning to visit Koh Ker, you will need to leave at 6.30am. It will take 3 hours to get there by Minivan but the road is only really accessible in the dry season.

I went in October and the road was just about passable. This trip can be combined with a visit to Beng Mealea temple as you drive close past there on the way.

It is expensive to get there, we were first of all quoted $100 dollars for a Minivan, but went to another travel agent and got the price down to $75 including fuel. There is also a toll road on the way make sure that this is included in the price, my travel agent didn't know anything about the toll road, however the driver paid for this.

To go to Koh Ker alone its not worth the money you really need to visit either Beng Mealea or Banteay Srei as well, you won't have time to visit all three. Koh Ker costs $10 each to visit. You can't use you Angkor Pass here.
